Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I make my booking request?
At least 24 hours ahead of the reservation. Unless the restaurant is fully booked, a booking request will usually be confirmed within 24 hours. For highly exclusive restaurants, it's recommended to send your booking request before the restaurant officially releases their seating so that we can make sure your request can be prioritized based on your pledge.
For highly exclusive restaurants, does pledging higher wine budget increase my chances of securing a reservation?
Yes as it shows the restaurant that you are serious about your reservation and willing to spend more on their wines. However, it does not guarantee a reservation as it ultimately depends on the restaurant's availability. Please note that all pledged wine spending amounts are calculated pre-tax.
Can I update the reservation details including the party size and the pledged wine budget?
Yes, you can update your reservation details by contacting us directly. However, please note that changes may affect the restaurant's ability to accommodate your request, especially if the party size or pledged wine budget is significantly different from the original request.
What if I decided not to spend the pledged amount at the restaurant?
Please contact us ASAP for any changes to your reservation. Please also note that we reserve the right to refuse future bookings if the pledged amount is not honored, as it may affect our relationship with the restaurant. Remember that pledged amounts are calculated pre-tax, so taxes and gratuities are not included in your commitment.
Are other beverages like cocktail counted towards the pledged wine budget?
No, only wines (by-the-bottle or by-the-glass) from the restaurant's wine menu or pre-ordered wines from the reserved menu are counted towards the pledged wine budget. Other beverages like cocktails or soft drinks are not included in the calculation. All wine spending is calculated on a pre-tax basis.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your reservation is ultimately governed by the policy from the restaurant. Please follow the steps and policy from the confirmation email sent from the restaurant.

Bacchus Concierge Terms of Service

1. Service Description: Bacchus Concierge provides priority booking services at partner restaurants for wine enthusiasts. Our service includes reservation assistance, wine consultation, and enhanced dining experiences.

2. Booking Commitments: By making a booking request, you commit to the pledged wine budget amount specified. This commitment helps us secure your reservation and maintain our relationships with restaurant partners.

3. Payment and Billing: Wine purchases are made directly with the restaurant. Bacchus Concierge does not process payments for wine or food. Any service fees will be clearly communicated before booking confirmation.

4. Modifications and Cancellations: Reservation changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellation policies are determined by individual restaurants. Failure to honor pledged wine budget commitments may affect future booking eligibility.

5. Restaurant Policies: Each restaurant maintains its own policies regarding reservations, dining times, dress codes, and wine service. Guests are expected to comply with individual restaurant requirements.

6. Liability: Bacchus Concierge acts as a booking intermediary. We are not responsible for restaurant service quality, food safety, or dining experiences. Our liability is limited to booking assistance services.

7. Perk Value Estimates: All perk values displayed are estimates for informational purposes only and do not guarantee that the actual price or value of complimentary dishes, sparkling wine, or other perks will match the estimated amounts. Actual perk values may vary based on restaurant pricing, menu changes, and availability. Bacchus Concierge is not responsible for discrepancies between estimated and actual perk values.

8. Data Privacy: We protect your personal information and use it for reservation services, communication, marketing, and promotional purposes. By submitting your contact information, you consent to receiving marketing communications from Bacchus Concierge and our restaurant partners about wine events, special offers, and dining experiences. We do not sell your data to third parties, but may share it with our restaurant partners for service delivery and promotional purposes. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

9. Service Availability: Concierge services are subject to restaurant availability and our operational capacity. We reserve the right to decline booking requests that cannot be accommodated.
